About this desk · file CON-11

An editorial desk, not a referral desk.

Concussion Claim Desk is a Type B authority site: calm, precise, public-source education with no commercial intent.

01

Grounded

Every medical or statutory claim maps to a public source listed at the foot of the file — CDC guidance to cdc.gov, the school-athletics statute to leginfo.legislature.ca.gov (Education Code §49475), persistence literature to PubMed, and coding references to ICD-10-CM. Where the record is thin, the desk says so.

02

No invented proof

No invented statistics, recovery schedules, or settlement figures. Where a figure matters, it comes from a cited public source — the CDC six-step return progression, the F07.81 postconcussional syndrome code — or the file says the number is not published. This desk never calculates a settlement, a filing deadline, or a recovery timeline.

03

Independent by design

No advertising, referrals, paid placement, affiliate links, testimonials, or case stories. No outside contributor, sponsor, or client influences content. If that ever changes, this page will say so before anything else.

04

Corrected on the record

Errors are fixed on the record: the file is corrected, the correction is noted with its date, and the “last reviewed” field is updated. No silent edits.

Authorship

Files are written and reviewed by the desk's editorial team under the byline “Concussion Claim Desk — Editorial.” No outside contributor, sponsor, or client influences content.

What this desk does not do

It does not sell services, accept leads, recommend a lawyer, diagnose an injury, estimate a settlement, or replace a treating clinician or legal professional.
